Vocabulary
This submission is short and sweet. Or rather, short and rude. C. doesn’t even seem interested in hearing the story behind J.’s insult-a-thon at school. She’s just like, “Huh? Did he do something that can get him arrested? Will it cost me money? Does it mean we have to postpone our weekend plans? Because if not, whoooooo cares??!”
I mean, really, when did it become inappropriate to call teachers bitches? If a bitch is a bitch, then call her out! There’s nothing I hate hearing more than, “My kid doesn’t feel as though he can stand up for himself.” Whether it’s due to classmate bullies or teacher bullies, every kid should feel comfortable standing up to a person who’s not treating him right. And it sounds like, despite having absolutely no background on the story whatsoever, J. was probably in the right. At least, according to his mother. Plus he made excellent use of a new vocabulary word (surely on the class syllabus)! What more can you ask of a precious child than that?
