Sorry about the teensy tiny text. If you’re having a tough time reading it, the caption says, “Somehow my child ended up at the “adults only” reception.” In the comments, she adds that her child was “just sick enough that he wanted mommy.”
So - let me get this straight. You made previous arrangements for your child to be babysat during an adults only wedding reception that someone probably paid way too much money to throw. Then when your kid got ‘extra sick’ and threw a fit you decided to can the babysitting option and bring him with you? To the wedding reception. Am I getting this right? And then you went and posted this picture along with a caption so obnoxious that one of your friends had to call you out?
This Mom needs a lesson in time travel. Do me a favor, Offending Mom: Try to think back. Wayyy back to a few years ago when you got married, before you had kids. Remember how annoying it is to plan a wedding? Or the part when you told your fiance, “If someone brings a sick child to my no-kids reception I think I might blow a gasket.” Now bring it back to present day: Don’t you feel kind of … ashamed?
