I don’t judge how people make babies, or why, or whether they’re married or BFFs or whatever. But I do think one thing is odd about Nikky’s choice of words, brought to my attention by the reader who submitted Nikky’s status: “This is from a girl I have on facebook that I went to elementary school with. I don’t know her well, but I am fairly certain she is not actually married to the guy she calls her ‘hubby’.”

Nikky, a husband can be many things. It can be a pillow. It can be your gay best friend, otherwise known as a gusband. It could even be your dog. But if it’s your man, and you haven’t exchanged vows, then he’s technically called your boyfriend. Even if you have a baby together. Just sayin’.
