Current Events // Tornado Edition
I’ve got another post coming up today, but first I wanted to post this to remind everyone to STOP MAKING NATURAL EVENTS ABOUT YOURSELF. It is so not funny when people get all “Ha ha ha, I know there’s some crazy shit happening outside right now but what about A PREGNANT LADY’S PIZZA, AMIRITE?!”
Considering the person who submitted this is from an area in Massachusetts where tornadoes were touching down yesterday (killing several people), I’d say Christina’s “semi-rhetorical question” was anything but amusing to more than a few of her friends. Not counting Amy, of course, who I’m guessing smiles and nods her way through life by saying things like, “Cravings trump tornadoes! Old people hurt children’s spirits! Blah blah blah let’s get a smoothie and go on a juice cleanse!”
Seriously, y’all, natural disasters aren’t excuses to make jokes about how “Now that there’s a tornado, I guess I don’t have to go to the gym!” or “Can I just park in the disabled spot since a tornado is supposedly going to destroy my car?!” Not funny. Not even close to funny. Stop talking and unplug your electronics.
PS: Nice try, Kara. You did your best.
