AGEISM

It’s the third installment of AGEISM and I’m pretty pumped. Let’s review the situation: Some older - not old, because 94 is old - census takers decided to take a break from their boring, temporary jobs to have a bite at Mickey D’s. Because it was a beautiful day, they decided to eat outside to do their paperwork and pretend they didn’t hate their lives for a brief moment. Just as they started digging into a pile of over-salted fries, a self-righteous mother waltzed up and threw a stink because she lives in a fantasy world.

Since when are children’s rights equal to the world bending to their every greasy desire? This is the real world, E. The one where your Playplace dreams can get shattered in the blink of an eye. You think McDonald’s employees care about your high-maintenance problems? No. They don’t. They don’t care about the group of dads, either. You know why? Because they make minimum wage. Take your crybaby antics and go to one of the other 35 McDonald’s restaurants within your city radius. If anyone here is guilty of ageism, it’s you.

PS: Maybe if you’d slipped each of those McDonald’s employees $20 you wouldn’t have had this problem. Just a thought.
