Did anyone else think of this when reading the word ‘babbies’? Just checking.
Some of my favorite posts involve restaurants. Who could forget Chili’s, Wendy’s, TV Out To Dinner, or Half-A-Baby? Not me! Speaking as a former servant server, I find the concept of ‘blaming waitresses’ pretty funny*. People are so pompous. Your server is a HUMAN. You know? A person with 2 arms. She probably brought the adults’ food out first because that’s what made sense. Plus, how old is T’s babby anyway? He can’t patiently wait 13 seconds for his food to arrive?
Commenter ‘Ma’ deserves a cool Key Lime pie in his** face. Flicking food at strangers is one of the most immature things a parent has copped to on this site, and that’s really saying something. If someone flicked corn or peas at me in a restaurant, the rest of their meal might very well end up in their lap. The fact is, restaurant patrons, whether they mind screaming babbies or not, are going to cast dirty looks in the direction of a screaming child because it’s a natural reflex. Don’t take it personally, T. You’re just acting like a big babby if you ask me.
*Yeah, some servers suck, but let’s face it: most don’t.
**I’m told everyone in this thread is male.
