I think this is the first time I’ve seen FB bragging about the proverbial “Push Present.” For those who don’t know, here’s how the New York Times defines it: “That’s “push” as in, “I the mother, having been through the wringer and pushed out this blessed event, hereby claim my reward.” Or “push” as in, “I’ve delivered something special and now I’m pushing you, my husband/boyfriend, to follow suit.” Gee, sounds like something I want to get involved in!
I’m not saying it’s not nice to receive gifts from the “hubs” after giving birth. I’d at least expect to retain control of the TV remote for a few days after that ordeal. But I thought the point of having a baby is to give someone else the gift of life, and you kinda expect nothing in return? Or, nothing expensive and shiny enough to possess you to talk like this bitch Leigh. “2 months till Bean and I get a new Vroom!”? I think I HATE her. I wonder if she happens to be part of this group? Something tells me she and Joanna would get along great. BTW, Leigh, nice profile picture.
