No cheap waxy chocolate for MY babies! When my children count down the days till Christmas in our household, they’ll be treated with special candies made by the fanciest chocolatiers!
My mother used to buy me cheap Advent calendars when I was little. She’d always say, “If I spoil you with fancy things now, you’ll always come to expect it.” And although I see some truth in that, I also see the importance of spoiling my adorable kids rotten. It just shows them how much more I care! Screw my mother’s life lessons…that was like 3 decades ago! Times have changed, and yes, I will brag about spoiling my children! Like Ca said, I question the quality of chocolate in the cheap ones, and my kids deserve the best.
