Grrr!! Silly President Obama doesn’t want mommies to get any sleep!!! He could have made mommy sleep a priority, but he didn’t. He could have said, “You know what, nation? I was going to take a few moments to talk about green energy and then move into this whole boring bit about the deficit, but what I’m going to do instead is focus on the thing that matters most to ALL of us: moms and their sleep.” But did he say that?? NO, he didn’t. He just went on and on about a bunch of partisan crap when he could have made a case for a topic that’s entirely relevant to both parties!

Just imagine the power a statement like, “Democrats and Republicans, put a bill on my desk that allots more time for the tireless mothers of this great nation to sleep, and I. WILL. SIGN IT!” could have had. Alas, that’s all for naught now. There will not be a mandate for mothers to take daily naps this year, and well, we all know who to blame for that. The freaking President. So THANKS Obama! You could’ve made life easier for all the moms, but ya didn’t. Oh, and while we’re on the subject, if you ever do take a minute out of your busy schedule to think of the moms, could you at least pass a law that says that FedEx and UPS aren’t allowed to ring doorbells during nap time? Waking up babies in the middle of the day should seriously be a crime!

10:15 in the morning? Ridiculous. Stupid guy just doing his job. Why can’t he deliver packages and think at the same time? Hellooo, there are mommies with sleeping babies in some houses. And guess what? They are tired! Something that seems to elude both delivery drivers and the President of the United States.
