Holiday Countdown: Day 4 - MommyJacking Edition

I’m starting to think there are people who troll business pages on Facebook with the sole intention of mommyjacking their updates. Business pages are sort of a mommyjacker’s “safe place.” They’re a Facebook No Man’s Land. I mean really, who’s gonna see it? Your other six friends who “Like” Pier 1? Ha! As if they bother to read the Pier 1 page, much less comment on it like some sort of freak.

The truth is, I’ve recently started a “Business Pages” folder because I receive so many submissions just like this one. I don’t know what it is about having a kid that makes people want to tell faceless corporations personal details about their lives, but usually their comments involve birthday shout outs, or remarks about what their kids do and don’t like about the business’s products, or quips about their approaching due date. In that sense, Andria’s comment is practically pedestrian. Psshhh…some people are so 2010 with their mommyjackings.
